It's about perspective.
What the Royals gave up was NOT that valuable (Shiny ERA aside). Two months of a setup man. Broxton ranks BELOW a guy like Dotel when traded in terms of 1/2 season value.
In return, they got a HIGH-K lefty they can slide into the bullpen if/when they move Mijares and a RHP with tremendous stuff. Worst-case scenario, Sulbaran can contribute as a 6th/7th inning guy out of the pen. With the reports on his stuff that I'm seeing, he can be really effective in that role.
Best-case scenario, he gets the walks under control (likely would require some delivery work/changes) and becomes a Felipe Paulino-type starter.
