First: Thank you.

Second: There is no defending starting Yuni Betancourt today, other than "he's righthanded" and they were trying to position themselves vs. the lefthanded starter. Never mind that Yuni has actually been worse vs. lefties than righties this year.

I would guess that something happened today that was a final straw (maybe it was him not hustling as another groundball rolled slowly by him into the outfield at a key point in a rally).

Regarding calling up Abreu rather than Gio... the problem is that Getz, like Gio, can only play 2B. If they called up Gio, Mike Moustakas becomes your best backup option at SS. So I don't complain about calling up Abreu (who has been playing a lot of SS at Omaha and is better there than Falu).
