Not surprising.
About two weeks ago I decide since the river is down I'm going to wade around and catch some hellgramites for bait.
When I wade into the river its not just warm, its hot. Almost sauna hot.
I flip rocks for about 40 minutes with MiniRadar before I got frustrated with chasing his flip flops down stream and for the effort I caught uh hellgramite.
So we go to the local lake and fish up some perch instead.
Around sunset I set a perch on the bottom and he doesn't flinch once until I bring him back up 10 minutes later and he's dead as a stump. Hot water = no oxygen deep, so I set another one on a slip bobber about 10 ft. down and he lasts maybe 30 minutes before dying. So I gave up. With water that damn hot nothing is going to be feeding anyway.
