It's pretty simple. KC missed the playoffs by one game last season. After losing Charles, Berry, Moeaki, and yes even Cassel. People hate him here, but that was a huge loss. He was replaced by Palko.
All those guys are back now. Healthy and ready to kick ass. I'm excited for this season. This team might not win it all, but I'll bet they'll be pretty ****in' good.
