I was in high school in the late 70's and he was a threat all the way around. Yes a powerback for sure but he was a threat out in the flat, etc.....sometimes a fly rte right down the middle of the field with his exceptional speed 9.6 100yd dash in high school. Tells you how fast he was. That was the beauty of Riggins was that he was so deceptive in his added abilities that went along with his power back strength.
