Obviously, dude should have dropped the knife. However, far too many people are of the opinion that since he didnt drop the knife, and took a couple steps, that the shoot was justified.
Maybe for you or me, a civilian without training of any kind in legitimate fear for your life, you would be understood taking that kind of action.
These cops are trained to handle this stuff. 6 cops and a dog against one man with a knife and youre telling me the ONLY POSSIBLE OUTCOME is 46 shots fired, 30 hitting the suspect?
There was no way to take him alive?
