Six months ago I was a 224lb beer belly with legs. I began to wonder how come I was fat.... could it be lack of exercise, or maybe eating too much? Then I computed the calories that I was taking in. I like beer & the Lagunitas Brewing Co. (IPA) is just down the street from me. I live in wine country. Folks here drink wine like the folks in Seattle drink coffee. But I like beer. So I sucked down both the wine and the beer.... about 1,000 calories a day. I quit both.
But I need some kinda drug so I started drinking sugar-free energy drinks instead & now I get all nervous & stuff & have trouble sleeping but at least it doesn't make me fat so I just keep doing it but now I'm no fun at parties cuz I tend to talk too much & miss the cues when its time to go home & stuff like that. Went down to 190.
Meanwhile, I still have too much flab. Just cutting out alcohol and becoming a speed freak isn't enough. I will actually have to learn about nutrition & exercise if I am to have a healthy weight loss. Maybe this is a good place to start....
