when you have businesses with revenue of $1 million with those that have revenue of $50 million trying for the same pile of tax breaks, thats not working. The $1 million company and the $50 million company have totally different needs to expand and hire. They are just not the same thing.
Maybe just pick a number, give out tax breaks to a small business that generated less than $5 million a year? I think if you are generating $5 million a year, you are on your way. Let's find the next start up and give them that tax benefit that the now $6 million company was recieving.
People a lot smarter than me can determine that magic number.
