There is some strange stuff going on at dealers. I have been looking at the Volt and really like it, but of the three dealers I have been to already none has one "available." There are Volts on the lot, though. In all three cases, I have salespeople steering me toward other models.

I don't need a car. I hardly drive, have a classic car, and an electric assist bicycle. I rent when I need to drive alot for a week or two at a time, but the discounted leases would give me a car year round for about the same I would pay to rent occasionally over the two year lease life. I just can't seem to get a dealership to part with one. I'm waiting for call backs from all three about availability.

This article only ads more questions. Maybe I should call GM and tell them I have trouble finding one.
