I'll admit that I didn't see the first game, but when the opposing team's running back gets 183 yards on 23 carries, that's a problem.

Because 99 yards of that total was made on one fluke play.
KU didn't allow a 100 yard rusher on Saturday.
The defense is far from great but they are improved over last year especially in the turnover department...so far.
Getting back to where KU wants to be will take some time. Changes for the good are already showing in my opinion.
