Geez these are some lists.
I shook hands with Mickael Gorbachev (sp?) once when he visited IU for a talk back in the mid-90's. I was coming out of the student union early in the morning after getting some coffee and he steps out of a limo with two security guys. Couple of us students walked up and shook hands. Didn't really say anything, but he was polite.
Pretty cool to shake the hands someone who could have destroyed all of mankind if he so inclined.
