The big danger is that the kid becomes (and justifiably so) soured on the organization for putting bullshit economics--Glass can afford to pay the kid should he become a star--ahead of on-field development and wins.

If we Longoria him, I'll recant my criticism of how ****ing stupid Glass and DM are.
