New Orleans over Kansas City:
Ah, the Desperation Bowl. The Saints’ defense has looked dubious in each of New Orleans’ first two games. The Chiefs’ whole operation seems shaky. The loser of this game will have to confront the fact that this is likely a lost season—for the Saints, that would mean a long float-ride in the Martyrdom Gras parade; for the Chiefs, general manager Scott Pioli can probably start looking for work. In an attempt to simplify things, look at it this way: Drew Brees vs. Matt Cassel. I’ll go with the Saints.
