Why would Crennel choose this moment in time to consider replacing Doofus #1 with Doofus #2? I mean, we just won a game.

Maybe he is just exploring his options? He knows, like the rest of us, we won in spite of Cassel, not because of him. That was evidenced by the fact that down 3 points he played for the tie with 1:40 left and was banking on a 40 something yard field goal.
Quinn really isn't any better than Cassel but ONE thing he has going for him is a bigger arm. If you are going to have a bad QB who can't put the team on his shoulder, we might as well at least have someone who can throw the ball 40-50 yards.
Cassel missed Bowe wide up for a TD against NO by about five yards down the near sideline. Brady would have at least given him a chance. The worst thing about Cassel so far this year is that even his short passing has been inaccurate. At least in the past within ten yards he was almost acceptable within 10-15 yards.
