Well most of the American people care about what happens on TMZ and dancing with the stars rather than what happens in Washington.
Washington knows this...which is why they always have celebrities in bed with their campaigns. This is why celebrities get invited to White House dinners and such...politicians want to feel important and viewed as hollywood....it's nothing more than a bullshit name dropping power grab.
