Just my inner proofreader geek coming out. I read most of it, gotta admit I skimmed a lot of the salary cap nonsense. You make some good points, and I suppose everyone has something to say about all this crap.
My take is that as much as I don't think it's right to cheer an injury, I'm honestly pretty surprised it wasn't more people than it was that cheered. After trotting out a game plan that involved no forward passes in order to protect the disaster that we call a quarterback, people were freaking the hell out wondering why he wasn't benched already.
Since it was obvious that they weren't going to take him out for his crappy play, and an injury would do what the coaching staff refused to do, I'm surprised that the majority of the people in the stands held their tongue.
