Instead, we found a side shop that fixes smart phone screens and iPad screens. I would look around for something like that.
This... Apple Support is very good but yeah, you have to pay for it. I ordered the newest OS from them last week and received 6 months free. (ligaf)
Just find a shop somewhere that can help him out.
