He'll never really be "easier" (or harder, for that matter) to fire. If Clark wants to fire him, he will.
It's about whether or not the contract makes it more financially palatable to fire him.
Given the reports we've seen, I think it's plausible to believe that he's signed a contract extension that has better (aka more favorable to the Chiefs) buyout language vs. the original contract.
