Agree completely. In fact, Direckshun has it backward if anything. In 2008, Romney was the conservative option (ignoring the Ron Paul candidacies) whereas in 2012, without really changing anything but tone, he was the moderate option and almost everyone else had a go at being the conservative of the day.
Direckshun's post was nothing but a long rationalization for why he can continue to support the failure he was always going to vote for while feeling like he's happy about his "choice".
