That's what I think. They need to get past the anti-gay marriage thing. All it does is get a large % of the population to automatically vote the other way. It's a legal and tax issue, not a church issue. As long as the government doesn't start forcing churches to perform gay marriages then I don't know why conservatives give a rats ass.
Half the reason these Hollywood celebs, talk shows, movies, etc hammer on Republicans is over the gay rights issue. They need to just take that whole topic out of the equation. It's dumb, it's a losing battle, and all you're doing is throwing softballs to the opponents.
