It's impossible to reason with Mr. BlackBob when it comes to this stuff. Apparently, he's one of those peepskis who is deliriously happy when the Chiefs make the playoffs whether it's a seasonal aberration or another one of those one-and-done kind of deals.
Although I firmly believe that players need to experience playoff football in order to start getting their minds around what it truly takes to become an NFL champion, playing bungling, inept football in the first round while you get your ass handed to you on a rotted plank isn't all that helpful, really.
I want to see the Chiefs return to glory ... not simply squat-walk through the season and back into a wild-card slot based on some abnormal circumstance just to prove beyond all doubt that we didn't belong there in the first place.
But first steps come first; we fire Dr. Evil and his minions and hire a GM with some intelligence and a sane psychological makeup. Then we can get our drafts figured out, plug some holes and rock and roll before Hali takes retirement. Yeah, baby.
