You missing the point man. It's none of your reasons. The reason is that they just don't give a ****. They don't care about winning. Pioli gave one or two guys second contracts who don't give a shit.

I do and I completely understand. The problem is that some of them have failed at being leaders. They can't just step aside for someone else if you are going to change the culture man. This isn't madden and this team has no chemistry or identity. On paper what you are saying is true.
However, there is no resentment or emotion on paper.
If it's like my work, the damage is done man. The resentment will always be there from the guys that aren't captains.
Look man, take DJ for example. Did he ever care before that new contract came up? Does he care about winning now? Why wouldn't he call a players only meeting and get shit worked out if he wanted to win? Listen to his post game quotes. They are the same as they were five years ago. I am tired of hearing it. By no means am I blaming all of this on him but, he has got to own some of it and he never does. Just like Cassel.
I see your point and do think it would hypothetically work. It's just that in my experience it's different. Can you see where I am coming from?
