You all keep throwing "Patriot way" around like its a swear. The "Patriot way" is three things: Kraft, Belichick, Brady. Everyone else has proven to be useless and false... coaches (Mangini, Weiss, Crennel, McDaniels), players (all failures post-N.E. save Vinatieri), and especially Pioli.

for his rookie year? You know because the #3 sees a lot of time and may have been too risky at the time to have him there, you know because they thought so much of him.
That's a hell of stretch. Its called a hunch. They thought MAYBE they had a guy that may end up a good #2. Had they known they had a SB winner he wouldn't have ever been a #4.
