If the Turtle leaves, I think the real issue here will be that it forces ND's hand. They found a nice comfy place with their other sports to live for a while. If the ACC gets picked clean, ND has to figure they might be forced into a conference after all.
Keep in mind that Maryland was one of the two schools that voted against the $50M+ exit fee. The ACC, I would guess, will replace Maryland with UConn.
FSU (the other school that voted against the new exit fee) is the only school that I could see leaving--but I really only think that they would leave for an SEC invite (which isn't coming). In other words, I don't think the ACC is collapsing. Long term, I think that the eastern seaboard schools (i.e., the ACC teams) hold the most promising tv markets. They just need to improve their product...
