There's even Tea Partiers that opposed to it because it relies on eminent domain abuse. The oil from it goes overseas not to Americans. It does nothing for Americans. It's nothing but a another globalist-self interest deal.
I have details on this somewhere in the forum from months ago. Type it in the search with my name. It should come up.
Good Lord, take a trip to the moon.
All the oil was projected to be used here until all the overseas countries we buy oil from threw a fit because it would reduce how much oil we buy from them. All of the opposition to the oil sands actually comes from foreign countries such as Nigeria, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia, all of whom supply oil to the United States setting off all of the environmentalist. They are backed by them and for the love of God, do not use the Cornell ILR Global Labor Institute study, a liberal leaning study group that back who ,environmentalist! It wasn't until the foreign countries such as Nigeria, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia outcry to America and the environmentalist, claiming it will all go to the Asian markets. TransCanada had said that development of oil sands will expand regardless of whether the crude oil is exported to the United States or alternatively to Asian markets through the Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipelines or the Kinder Morgan's Trans-Mountain line. Meaning if we do not want the oil, Asian markets do and it will go out through British Columbia. A lot of money has been spent so far into building this pipeline over the last 2 years. For the record, when completed, the Keystone XL will add 510,000 barrels per day increasing the total capacity up to 1.1 million barrels of oil per day to the United States of America ....... Not the Asian markets as the environmentalist claims that is backed the opposition of Nigeria, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia.
It does nothing for Americans?
Nothing ? What is job creation t you ?Do you not know that a large part of this is already done ? Hundred of thousand of jobs have been made to the public over the last few years and especially now when we need more of those jobs. Plus the jobs at the refineries will increase, bringing more jobs to Americans. But let's kill the jobs because the interest of countries like Nigeria, Venezuela, and Saudi Arabia.
Yeah, let's kill jobs because other foreign countries are fearful we will buy less oil from them.
