Million dollar question right here. Does owning a gun mean that people are just "fast forwarding" to the inevitable. Would Belchers GF have ended up dead eventually anyways, if he he hadn't owned a gun? By sheer force, knife, whatever.....? Basically owning a gun just makes it more convenient to kill when arguments escalate out of control.
On the other hand, millions of gun owners get in fights every day and never use them to settle an argument.......
