If you're talking about this insurance issue, these places aren't offering insurance due to some relegious tenet. They are doing so as a business to attract and keep employees. They don't have to offer insurance. But if they do, they have to follow the rules that go along with such things--simple as that.
I'm sure it's as simple as that in your mind. That's why people like the author of this article are right to fear that gay marriage will impact them a lot more than many gay marriage proponents claim it will.
