They already waded (pun intended) into abortion. Had they demurred, the states would've started passing it into law anyway. I mean, even South Dakota just shot down an anti-abortion measure recently.
Well, maybe enough of them will invoke the Tenth Amendment instead of the bogus incorporation doctrine that has destroyed federalism.
