If I were building a COLLEGE team and I had the first pick, yeah, I'd think hard about taking Teo. MLB's can still dominate the COLLEGE game, as you can win in multiple ways. You can play Marty ball, like ND and Bama, you can run and shoot like Oregon, you can spread and shoot like the Big 12.
However, in the NFL, it's getting to a point where the ways to win, SB"s, are becoming fewer and fewer and bottlenecking to one stance.
You have to be able to throw the ball and score points, all the while being able to rush the passer.

i will try to go easy on you **** nut. I agree we need a QB. Problem is there is not one worth taking with the first pick. Go tell Ray Lewis that linebackers make no difference in the pro game. Tell that to Brian Cushing and Clay Matthews. I would rather play like Alabama and Notre Dame than like Oregon or West Virginia. At least Alabama and Notre Dame are in the Championship. IF there were a QB that was dominant, i would be all for it. Geno Smith is good enough to take a college team to seven wins, does that equate to 3 or 4 in the pros? This kid runs a spread offense in college just like that coveted kid from missouri a couple of years ago. How did that turn out? I would much rather take a sure thing with the top pick in the draft and possibly trade up with my second pick and get a QB there. A good QB will be available, maybe not one with the hype of geno, but there will be a decent one available. Just because i do not agree with you on Geno Smith, it doesn't mean that i am wrong.
