My only experiences holding a gun were 1) when I worked at a convenience store when I was 19, and the on duty reserve police officer (small town) took the magazine out, put the safety on, and let me hold it, and 2) a guy I dated over the summer showed me how to take his apart and how to hold it to shoot it. They were heavier than I expected, especially the cop's, and that was without a magazine.
My only experiences every shooting a gun were 1) Duck Hunt on NES, and 2) my first ever attempt at playing COD Black Ops 2 a few weeks ago (which is the first time I've played a video game in about 15 years...lol).
