Grandpa had a Deere unit from the late 70s/early 80s. It was a snow eating beast and ran like a champ. And grandpa never screwed with fuel even though we rarely used it. It was sold in the estate auction in 2008, and dad missed it. He was pissed.
Anyway, if you get one that isn't a cheap POS, I think it will stay as long as you want.
Yeah well you have a farm, that's a little different. My uncle has so much shit on his farm I have no idea how he keeps it all running. Guess it helps that he's retired.
It's just hard to justify a snowblower, it's not uncommon for us to have winters where you don't even need one.
