I wish that were true, but there are always idiots who are the polar opposites of the Westboro groups pushing their anti-religious rhetoric passed the boundaries of the Constitution. Freedom OF religion, not Freedom FROM religion.

Here is a case of a Pastor not employed by the school being sued for praying in an after hours function. http://www.northescambia.com/2012/09...s-take-a-stand

Here is a case of students speaking over a loud speaker being overruled by the Supreme Court since the public speaking system is school owned. http://www.aasa.org/SchoolAdministra....aspx?id=10856

Here is a lawsuit pending against a student body that has voted to have a student led benediction at their graduation. http://irmo.patch.com/articles/irmo-...-at-graduation

Texas Supreme Court ruling against the words "benediction", "amen", "prayer", and "invocation" in this case, threatening even the individual students who dare to use such words. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/06/02...tion-ceremony/
