Yes, it would appear that bad things happen completely randomly. If that were not the case, there would be an observable pattern showing good Christian people being rewarded with positive events. But if you look at data, Christian people don't experience better results in life. And atheists and other godless heathens don't experience worse results in life.
Absolutely, most(almost all) of the Prophets of GOD were killed. It's not about living the easy life here.
