Hunt was also very close with herm. It means nothing until we see what happens. Based on what we know about hunt, he isn't going to shitcan pioli... If anything, he will be politely shown the door. And he is going to look at that massive buyout and find every which way to make sure it's negotiated down. And based on how thorough he was, wouldn't rule out hunt waiting to get exactly what he wants.
It's fine to speculate, but it's silly to blame him for things that haven't happened yet.
