We'd all love for him to come out and say he's taking a quarterback at 1 and he already has an idea of who that will be, but what are the odds he's even broken down film on this years' qb class yet? When would he have had the time, or the inclination? He had Foles playing well enough, and since he didn't know where he'd be next season, it seems odd that he'd spend his time doing a ton of evaluation on college prospects when he didn't know if they'd fit an organizational need.
This organization needs a quarterback. He's got the first pick. What do you imagine he's going to spend it on?
Let's use some logic here. A team has several holes to fill. There is a new head coach with the first selection in the draft. He can either use that pick on a player who nobody seems to think can make it or trade that for several picks that will make the team better.
It's not what everyone wants to hear, but I'll be shocked if it isn't what happens.
