If he's the #1 QB, and you have him rated as the #5, 6, 7 rated prospect, you take him at #1, because the value of QB is so much greater than any position in team sports.

I said "I could live with it." Even there (based on current data, mind you) I'd consider it a desperation pick. just much less so than at 1.
Also, if you were comfortable that Geno would still be on the board at 5 would you not switch positions with the team at 5 if you could get at least their 2nd rdp plus more?
