Do you think it's unreasonable when security staff ask someone to open their purse/bag when walking into a sports stadium?
Is the stadium the govt, owned and run by the government? Or is it a govt/private combination aka fascist/mercantilist set-up? I need to know before I answer. Since the 4th Amendment applies to the govt.
I do consider that the 4th Amendment has been eviscerated if that's what you want to know.
“Experience should teach us to be most on our guard to protect liberty when the Government’s purposes are beneficent. Men born to freedom are naturally alert to repel invasion of their liberty by evil-minded rulers. The greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well-meaning but without understanding.” — James Madison
