Yes there is absolutely. This is a problem I have with leftists such as progressives, socialists and fascist big-govt liberals. They often compare these two with government doing them as if it's the same thing. Govt is a monopoly, and it's not like one has a choice to go somewhere else who will make the customer experience more satisfying including safety measures. These things can be used in ads including bragging about their safety record.
