Gannon also had Jerry Rice and a plethora of other talented weapons in Oak (Charlie Garner, Andre Rison went there and was productive after he left KC too, etc.) along with an offensive guru HC who told Al Davis to '**** off' and completely redesigned his offense around his QB.
In '98...we had Jimmy Raye calling the plays. The best Grbac ever got for coaching in KC was Paul Freaking Hackett, a guy who owes his entire career to being at Joe Montana's periphial.
Man...if we woulda just kept Mike McCarthy...
