This will also be the first time in 10 years that the Pats, Steelers or Colts haven't been the AFC team in the Super Bowl.

On the flipside... the Pats/Steelers/Ravens/Colts have appeared in 12 of the last 13 Super Bowls. There's your "parity" right there.
