Common sense tells you...if a plane is going to be hijacked in mid air, you're not going to land safely. You're going to crash. There isn't going to be some safe landing where the terrorists land and say "Thanks for cooperation, you all can get off the plane now, sorry for the inconvenience." Those people are willing to die no matter what.
So if you're going to die, why not fight? Why didn't the 70 or so people on that flight immediately jump on these ****ers and take them out? Becuase they were armed w/ box cutters?
Even if they were strapped w/ fake plastic explosives it's either die....or die fighting your ass off.
You must be either very young or didnít pay a lick of attention to hijackings until 9-11-01.
The typical hijacking consisted of the hijackers taking over a plane, diverting its course to land somewhere they considered safe, negotiate some demands for the release of hostages and as long as everyone kept their cool theyíd go home at the end of the ordeal.
Thatís why the crew and passengers just went along with what the hijackers wanted, itís what they were coached to do.
Flight 93 was different because the news of the other three planes crashing had reached the passengers and they decided they werenít going to die just sitting there.
