I don't know what to tell you then. I don't see anything on your list that would be remotely concerning. I mean, I'm not a fan of the religious types personally, but it's often an indicator of good character when he's doing stuff to help people.
As for the age thing, whatever. All kids are idiots until they're about 25, so I don't know that it matters.
