I would love to see the original trilogy in 3d, but i wasn't sure if i was going to see ep2 and ep3 in 3d. of course i probably would have broke down and went to see them, just cause star wars kicks ass on the big screen. the thing that concerns me is the term "reboot" being used. if disney wants to make eps 7,8, and 9 i'm reluctantly ok with that, but if they try to remake the original trilogy, i'm going to have a melt down.
I said when the original trilogy was released on DVD (not Blu-Ray, before then) that Lucas wasn't getting another dime from me until Eps. 4-6 were released in theatrical version and given a proper treatment (none of this non-anamorphic, bullshit he did for the DVD releases). And I've held true to that statement.
