protein will help.
Don't overdue it when you start. Do it at your own pace. It is all about your max reps. If it is 4 pushups it is 4 pushups.. but stay active after that while the 2 minutes is going. I jogged in place or did jumping jacks while the ripped guys on tv did 400 pushups in 2 minutes...
keep some water near by and yes plyometrics made me puke the 1st time..
