The way Benghazi was "handled" (and I'm not sure what particular aspect you have in mind) was nothing out of the ordinary. It was a tragedy, but one that is generally not that uncommon considering the people and assets we have in a dangerous and unstable part of the world.
There was no treasonous act, no act worthy of impeachment. Although tragic, that you frame it as some huge "embarassing chapter" in US history shows that you are the Beck-type asshole, unless you are going to acknowledge that such chapters happen on a fairly regular basis.
It would indeed be a tragedy if the history of the human race proved to be nothing more than the story of an ape playing with a box of matches on a petrol dump.
