Again, Travis is confused. He wants the best of both worlds: a parity-driven, ultra competitive "NFL style" system......as well as "big games". You can't have both, you must choose. You can have a consistent league like the Big 12 with no great teams and 90% of them in a bowl. OR. You can have the SEC where the top teams dominate the sport but the bottom feeders get killed against them.
One could also point out the recent Big 12-SEC agreement for the Champions Bowl. If Clay was correct that the Big 12 sucks, then Mike Slive looks really stupid for signing a deal with a crap league.
