Do you think Chip Kelly's going to run the single wing in the NFL? The triple-option? No, he isn't. Kelly was actually a bit of a mad tinkerer and downfield passer prior to his Oregon days. By all means, look at what he did with New Hampshire - Chip Kelly was a spread-offense style passing guru before he went to Oregon. He loves to utilize speed in his backfield, including his QB, to create mismatches.

At the NFL level, those mistmatches are going to be in the intermediate passing zones and he's going to take advantage of them with a QB that shows strong intermediate accuracy but has enough footspeed to keep defenses honest.

Smith absolutely has those traits. I think the problem may just be that you don't actually understand much about Chip Kelly.
