You're also comparing apples to oranges in terms of the NFL from Leaf's time until now. Rookie QB's can come in now, and win pretty quickly. The league has changed to make it that way.
You also moved the goalposts. You started with the fact that Newton was a leader because of what he did at Auburn, but in the NFL he has been a complete headcase diva. Then you start talking about his NFL stats. Also leaving out the fact that he has an average QB rating and completion percentage. These two things far outweigh passing yards and rushing yards.
