Shoot if they trade for Alex, I'm concerned they might not take a QB in round 2. I assume they would give up say a 3rd at least for Alex. You telling me on a 2-14 team they're going to spend 2 of their first 3 picks on QB? I don't think so.

No one wanted Alex Smith when he was a free agent last year. What makes you think he would cost so much? I would much prefer to Draft Geno and play him straight away, but its not crazy to think they could do both. It actually makes quite a bit of sense.
