This is pretty much how I feel about the pick-up. I'm banking on Andy Reid's pedigree with QB's to continue the upward directory of Alex Smith's career. His last two years have been quite good. Sure I would like to see him throw for more yards but his TD/INT ratio is good and he has proven to come up big in the end of ball games the last couple of years. In reality his ability to protect the ball in itself will improve this team drastically.
Wish the compensation was much lighter but overall I like the pick-up. It is apparent our front office isn't high on this years draft class of QB's. Flame away!!!
